All Exo Pexo apps are COPPA compliant.

At Exo Pexo we take your privacy very seriously. As our apps are designed especially for children, we pay special attention to online privacy. We also comply with the best practices for kids’ apps as specified by the “Know What’s Inside” program. (ACT | The App Association)

Exo Pexo may change or update this Privacy Policy at any time as our products are updated with new features, or as required of us by law. Unless we specify another date, these changes are effective upon posting. We suggest you review this Privacy Policy frequently.

Our privacy policy describes the information collected by us (Exo Pexo) through our mobile applications, and how we use this information.

The term “personal information” refers to personally identifiable information through which a user can be identified as an individual. The term “Non-personal information” refers to information that does not directly identify a user.

Collection and Use of Personal Information

We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe we have mistakenly collected such information, please contact us so we can resolve the issue. The only “personal information” that Exo Pexo collects is from parents and that takes place when 1. an adult contacts Exo Pexo via direct e-mail, or 2. when an adult subscribes to our newsletter. In the first (1) case Exo Pexo uses the personal information only to directly reply to the specific inquiry and for no other purpose. In the second (2) case where a user has subscribed to Exo Pexo’ newsletter list, personal information is used specifically to inform the user on new updates, new app releases, gifts, discounts, special offers and other relevant material. The user has the ability to unsubscribe at any time.

Subscription to our mailing list via our apps is strictly for parents and is only accessible through 1. the parent’s section, and only after passing through the locked parental gate. (present in all our apps) or 2. through forms available on our website.

We use your email address only for the purpose of sending the newsletter to you. We provide a free, optional newsletter that parents can elect to receive by submitting a request on our website at www.exopexo.com. Our collection of email addresses to send newsletters is made under Section 312(c)(3) of the COPPA rules effective July 1, 2013, which require that we notify you that:

We are collecting the email address for the sole purpose of sending the newsletters;
We use the email address solely for that purpose and the email address is not combined with any other information;
You may unsubscribe from receiving the newsletter at any time. (Our newsletter is provided through our third-party service providers. For this reason, we share your email address with them for the sole purpose of fulfilling newsletter subscriptions.);
We don’t rent or sell your email address.

We do not share personally identifiable information (such as name, address, email, phone or any other type of data) with third-party companies or individuals.

Collection and Use of Non-Personal Information

Our apps may use tools or third-party analytical software* to collect non-personal information such as: app progress, session times, clicked objects and other non-personal information that may be used by Exo Pexo to enhance our apps and services and improve the overall game experience. This data is in a form that does not permit direct association with any specific individual. We do not share non-personal information with third-party companies or individuals.

Parental Gate and External Links

All external links such as our website, social media and support e-mail are secured behind a parental gate. Our apps do not display third-party advertising. Our apps may contain information or links to other apps by Exo Pexo and in this case links out of the app are also behind a parental gate, accessible only by adults.

Push notifications and Location Data

Our apps do not use push notifications or collect location data.

Changes

We reserve the right, at any time, to add to, change, update, or modify this Policy, simply by posting such change, update, or modification on the Site and without any other notice to you. Any such change, update, or modification will be effective immediately upon posting on the Site. We encourage you to review this Policy from time to time to ensure that you continue to agree with all of its terms. Your continued use of our apps after any modification to our Privacy Policy will constitute your acceptance of such change.
